Plot summary
On a mission in Prague, a CIA spy and his rival Lara fall for each other; both walk away from their agencies and marry, and he takes the name Joe. Lara joins Alarum, a network that works against the global intelligence establishment, while the two settle into a quiet life. Five years later they are on honeymoon at a remote resort near Gdańsk, where Lara watches the banker Roland Rousseau, who laundered money for arms dealers. A light aircraft crashes near the resort, and Joe cuts a USB drive out of one of the pilots. Orlin, an agent of the Yellowjacket organization, brings men to take the drive, and CIA Director Burbridge dispatches an operative named Chester after it as well.
