Plot summary
In a future Hong Kong of 3477, Aladdin is a street orphan and thief who longs to join the city's elite. With his hovering robot, Fidgi, he stages daring holdups. He slips into the rear of a luxury spa and sees Princess Kamala Shivali of India; royal guards chase him off. Kamala goes back to palace life in India, where Grand Vizier Lochan Shyamal holds the household in his grip and plots to topple the Sultan through nanotechnology. Aladdin is drawn into a search for a legendary lamp in Cambodia, working with Oomi, a mischievous young drifter.
