Plot summary
Aileen Wuornos, a prostitute, is accused of a brutal series of murders. A documentary follows a filmmaker's attempts to interview her. These attempts involve a long process of mediation. The mediation goes through Arlene Pralle, who legally adopts Wuornos and gives her dubious advice, and through Steve Glazer, Wuornos's lawyer.
