Plot summary
A family from the United States is spending a vacation in Egypt. Then the ground shakes: earthquakes of enormous force split the Arabian tectonic plate, and the weather turns unstable. Jack, Diane and Amber Jones find the temperature falling fast, and the cold arriving with the night is expected to be more than anyone can survive. The three of them set out to reach safety. Around them a new Ice Age takes hold, and mountains of snow cover the Sphinx, the Pyramids and the Sahara Desert.
