Plot summary
Skip, Pat, Jenny and Toby Robinson live in the mountains, where the family continues its relaxed life. They prepare themselves for the fierce winter that is coming. As the cold weather takes hold, Pat fights a bout of pneumonia. Skip sets out on skis to return to civilization and bring back medication to treat her. The wildlife around them stays menacing and dangerous at times.
