Plot summary
Amy Harding moves into her family's remote cabin in the woods with her cat, Frankie, and a large sum of money. She notices a strange slime in the kitchen and worries about pests. At the general store, Mrs. Miller tells her mouse traps are out of stock and suggests insect repellent. When her cat goes missing and something bites her hand, she meets wildlife biologist Marshall Clarke, who has been investigating disappearing animals and strange residue. They search the cabin and encounter one of the lizard-like creatures. Marshall identifies it as a mutant gecko that can spit paralyzing venom. A snowstorm traps them, and they must survive the creatures that have overrun the area.
