Plot summary
Sadie lives out of a motel room and acts as a vigilante, helping women and children get free of abusive homes and relatives. She asks for whatever the people she helps can afford and tries to claim a life insurance policy on a husband who is still missing; a map of her search covers one wall. After a workout she puts on a wig, contact lenses and latex makeup, then talks her way into the home of Andrea and Michael Shaund by claiming to be there for a health insurance assessment. She overpowers Michael, forces him to sign the house over to Andrea and to hand over most of his money, and warns him to stay away from his wife and her family. Sadie asks Andrea to give her number to anyone who may need it.
