Plot summary
The Rancourt family leaves for Savannah, Georgia, hoping to put the drowning of their young daughter out of mind. In their new home, the mother, Rachel, experiences chilling phenomena and believes her dead daughter is haunting her. An old woman whose ties reach back to the house's slavery past warns that something darker and more sinister lies beneath it. The haunting turns the members of the family against one another.
