Plot summary
Maria Laura Medina, known as Mala, is an aspiring actress with little luck. Her best friend asks her to test her boyfriend by flirting with him, and the request turns into a business: women across the city pay Mala to seduce their boyfriends and report on whether the men stay faithful. Mala is successful at it, until her dream of performing depends on a job she must carry out with Santiago, who is unlike the men in the jobs before it and unsettles her professional convictions.
