Plot summary
Molly and Sam have been husband and wife for forty years, and over that time they bicker over the smallest things, day after day. Sam brings home a pet fish and decides it will live in the bathtub, a choice Molly cannot make any sense of. His daily harangue wears her down, and she finally packs a bag and moves into the home of their son Joel. Her arrival puts Joel and the rest of the family in the middle of the standoff, and they search for a way to get their parents talking again and the household back to normal.
