Plot summary
Ash works as a private detective, and the job has turned out to be less adventurous than he expected. His fridge is empty, his bank account is empty, and he tells his cat Dinah that if the ringing phone brings another husband wanting a wife shadowed, he will quit for good. The caller is not that. A gentleman who will not give his name wants Ash to find a computer hacker called Trinity, and the payment that appears in Ash's account persuades him to take the case. Ash starts to investigate, and he learns that other detectives have gone looking for the hacker before him.
