Plot summary
Allison Bennet, her daughter Olivia and her mother Martha run a bakery in White Pines, a small town in the Tennessee mountains. Matthew, a real estate developer, wants to buy the town and turn it into a corporate ski resort. The residents of White Pines do not want to lose their town, so Allison and her neighbors work together to block the purchase. Then, when the Bennet family is out of luck, an unexpected visitor comes into the bakery. The visitor is known to be fond of cookies and milk, and may be the one who can solve the town's problem.
