Plot summary
Since 2001, Lou, Trish, Maura and Betty have followed the New England Patriots and their quarterback Tom Brady, and in 2017 the four best friends celebrate the team's AFC Championship win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. They enter a contest for free tickets to Super Bowl LI in Houston by telling the story of their fandom, and Lou tells the others that they have won. On the day they fly, the group gets Maura out of her retirement home, where a mix-up with her medication had left her asleep.
