2099: The Soldier Protocol (2019) on Netflix

Plot summary

Matt Mills is a paraplegic prison inmate when representatives of Satoshi-Telefair Industries, known as The Board, approach him about the Program. They promise that he will walk again, and under pressure he agrees to volunteer. An injection of a synthetic nanomaterial leaves him suffocated and then awake with his legs working; he is alone in a steel cell at the start of an experimental apparatus called The Wheel. A series of assailants do heavy damage to his body and torment his mind. The nanomaterial repairs his damaged organs and rebuilds his strength. The experiment may be designed to kill, but Mills is set on surviving and getting back to his daughter before The Board can find her.
