Plot summary
The marriage of Michael Greene and Brooke has lost its intimacy, and Michael is a family man trying to keep his household together. He designs video games and is raising two children with Brooke. His brother-in-law Drew buys a customizable sex robot, and Michael learns of a hidden parlor that offers sexbots. He goes to the warehouse run by Maxwell, where synthetic partners are made to a customer's requirements, and orders one of his own, a robot designed to be his perfect mate.
