Plot summary
Jill has moved away to college, and on the phone her boyfriend David gets her to wish he could watch her fence. He arrives unannounced at her tournament and, taking her opponent for Jill, flirts with her. The woman kisses him, and Jill walks in and storms off. Teddy, David's roommate, tells him Jill will be at a house party that night, so David goes, hoping to speak with her in person. Angad hosts the party at his parents' house, and the rooms are crowded. David's apology goes badly, and Jill says he makes her feel replaceable. Teddy tries to charm Melanie, and Allison, an outsider, tries to fit in. A meteor lands near the house and a blackout follows, and a mirror image slips out of step.

Can contain spoilers, watch the movie first.
- Lola Visual Effects created the duplicate interactions using its own facial rig, which it had built specifically for The Social Network: an actor performing against a double in the same clothes, recreated in another facility with a rigid chair inside a bank of LED panels, then merged.
- Dennis Iliadis chose to set the story at a teen house party because of the risk, wanting it "fun, raunchy, and messy"; he wrote a short paragraph and presented it to Bill Gullo, and it became the full script.
- Dennis Iliadis fine-tuned elements of the film for its September 20, 2013 release in theaters, iTunes and VOD because he felt the version that premiered at SXSW on March 10, 2013 was too "rushed".
