Plot summary
P.R. Veerapandiyan, known as PRV, is an influential man in the Ramanathapuram district with business ventures reaching Rameswaram. His four sons fall into two groups: Ramachandran, Sivachandran and Jayachandran, born to his late first wife, and Ravichandran, called Ravi, whose mother is PRV's second wife, Muthaaram. The elder three run the main business, while Ravi looks after the family's low-income properties and his buses, and they regard him as only a half-brother. In Rameswaram, Samuthiram blames the family for the loss of his son Pandi and wants revenge; Pandi's twin, Lingam, is in prison for killing DSP Thiyagarajan. Ravi falls in love with Jebamalar, and with Lingam out of prison he sets out to keep his family safe.
