Plot summary
Ana is thirty and drives an ambulance; the job is one thing she does well. It is the rest of her life that comes apart: she struggles to hold on to relationships, she drinks, and she injures herself. Psychiatrists have a name for what she lives with, borderline personality disorder, but Ana has no diagnosis and no explanation for the episodes. Her mother, her father and her aunt are part of her days, and on duty she keeps her composure with the crews she rides with. What Ana wants most is to be happy, and she does not know how to get there.
