Plot summary
Annie is a timid young woman stuck in an abusive relationship. She leaves her boyfriend and moves into a beach house shared by her old friends Stevie and Rose. Both friends make documentaries. Stevie is working on an in-depth expose about contemporary witchcraft. One evening, the three women sip wine in the hot tub and then decide to experiment with black magic for Stevie's project. They hold a seance. The ritual unintentionally summons the evil witch Lilith.
