Plot summary
Married couple Ed and Sarah want to leave their busy London lives behind, so they buy Castle Farm, a 19th century farmhouse on the Scottish borders, a place they intend to renovate. Flo, the estate agent, warns them the land was once fought over by the English and the Scottish. They go ahead with the purchase anyway, and take a walk in the woods at sunset. After dark Sarah hears sounds in the house and believes someone else is there. Ed puts it down to her imagination, so she makes him go and look. When he does not come back, she goes downstairs and finds masked intruders.
