Plot summary
At Jookran High School for Girls, homeroom teacher Mrs. Park, known as Old Fox, circles names in the students' yearbooks and calls Hur Eun-young, once her student, to say that Jin-ju is dead but still attending school. Before long she is strangled, and three seniors find the body: Lim Ji-oh, a superstitious painter; Yoon Jae-yi, a timid outsider; and the sullen Kim Jung-sook. Their replacement teacher, Mr. Oh, called Mad Dog, is cruel to the class and singles out the top student, Park So-young. Ji-oh paints the dead teacher, earning a punishment, and Jae-yi, once an artist herself, offers to teach her in the storage room, which students say is haunted.
