Plot summary
In a secluded country estate, Su-mi rejoins her father Moo-hyeon and stepmother Eun-joo after treatment in a mental institution for shock and psychosis, and her younger sister Su-yeon comes with her. Eun-joo takes medicine every day, and she and Su-mi argue often. Su-mi asks her father to remove a wardrobe from Su-yeon's room, since it appears to upset her sister, and he refuses. Su-yeon wakes from a nightmare about their mother's ghost and seeks out Su-mi. Photographs in the house show that Eun-joo once worked as an in-home nurse for the sisters' ill mother, and Su-mi finds bruises on Su-yeon's arms.
