Plot summary
In 1979, the older Dr. Park Jung-nam comes across a photo album dating from his internship at Ansaeng Hospital, and the memories of 1942 return. That year, with Korea under Japanese colonial rule, Jung-nam is a young intern whose arranged marriage ends when the fiancée he has never met takes her own life. He is assigned to the morgue for the night watch, and there he falls in love with a corpse. Other troubles gather at the hospital: a child is haunted by ghosts, and a killer is stalking Japanese soldiers. A man and his wife look into the murders.
