Plot summary

Chie Kagami has a routine her husband cannot fathom. The salary man, Jun, walks in after work and finds her stretched on the floor with something red at her mouth, and he takes it for blood. It is ketchup; she is only playing dead. She gives him no explanation. The same scene meets him again the next day, and the day after. Jun cannot make sense of what his wife is doing, and the pattern leaves him baffled and uneasy at home.
