Plot summary
Brösel draws the Werner comic, and his boss Gerd Geldhai wants a Werner film from him before its premiere. A Grim King who cannot laugh has other plans for him: Brösel must make the king laugh within three days. When his own ideas fail, a witch girl called Rumpelstilzchen hands him a magic pen that supplies them, in exchange for one wish of hers to be granted later. The animated passages follow Werner, a plumber's apprentice and moped enthusiast, at work with the journeyman Eckat and the clumsy Master Röhrich. Werner hauls a broken trailer behind his moped, a radiator repair turns into a flood and his moped fails to satisfy the vehicle inspectors.
