Plot summary

Nuria's life looks settled, with parents who love her and a boyfriend she means to marry, but she is still married to Jorge, a former chief executive who now lives close to ruin with Lucas, his former boss and friend. Two years apart have not made Jorge forget her. When Nuria goes to him for the divorce papers, she is told he tried to jump from a window, and she feels responsible. She turns to her parents, Miguel and Patricia, and the three settle on a deception: Jorge is to believe that his marriage to Nuria never ended, and that Miguel's company was not lost through Jorge's failed investments. The plan is to spare everyone pain, though each new lie makes the arrangement harder to keep up.
