Plot summary
Jesus lives in Havana, where he works as a hairdresser and does the makeup for the drag performers at a local club, though what he wants is to be onstage himself. He gets his chance to perform, and a man from the crowd is Angel, his estranged father, a former boxer, who punches him in the face. Angel has come back into his son's life, and the two of them clash over the values they hold, struggling to understand each other. With his father home in Havana again, Jesus is forced to give up performing at the club and must come to terms with his own sexuality.
