Plot summary
Ganesh arrives in Kolkata with his sister Tamizh to enroll her in an arts college, and befriends a rowdy thug named Kolkata Kali, who escorts the two of them to their new house. Ganesh is hired at a taxi company where Laxmidas is his boss, and his first passenger is a lawyer named Swetha. She cannot pay the fare and instead has him pose as a mute eyewitness in one of her cases, but his phone rings in court and the judge fires her. Swetha and Laxmidas then join forces to take revenge on him. Police commissioner Yashpal summons the city's taxi and auto rickshaw drivers and asks them to report any activity by a crime syndicate.
