Plot summary
As neoliberalism presses on Argentina and the crisis of the nineties deepens, a new way of organizing and of solidarity work takes shape in the province of Jujuy. A social organization comes forward determined to change a chaos already established, and it carries demands for dignity, health care, education and work on behalf of those in greatest need. Thousands of people in Jujuy begin to build a cooperative way of working based on solidarity, to answer the profound needs of the human being. The organization, Tupac Amaru, draws criticism from some and support from many, and defenders of its cause appear across Argentina.
