Plot summary
After leaving southern France, Frank Martin settles in Miami and does a friend a favor by serving as temporary chauffeur to the Billings family. He grows fond of their son Jack, collects the boy from elementary school after putting down a gang of carjackers who go after his Audi, and turns aside a drunken approach from Audrey Billings, whose marriage is strained. Her husband Jefferson heads a government drug control office and has a conference with the DEA ahead of him. At Jack's medical checkup, the doctor and the receptionist have been killed, and Frank fights off the impostors led by the trigger-happy Lola, getting the boy away.
