Plot summary
In 1990, a naval submarine disappears after entering a portal in the Bermuda Triangle. Its commander, Alan Deakins, resurfaces years later saying he traveled into the future. The navy does not believe him and confines him to a mental institution. A paranormal research group led by Lance McCarty funds a voyage to recreate the accident, and the official Charles Braddock arranges Deakins' release so he can take part. Before the expedition sails, Deakins sees his wife, Jeannie. The submarine reaches the portal, and on the other side a military vessel attacks and boards it. Koda, who leads the boarding party, says he knows Deakins and takes the crew prisoner.
