This Is Meg (2017) on Netflix

Plot summary

Based on true events, Meg is a comedienne and actress in Los Angeles who works but has never become famous. Attention has moved to social media, and stars of that world now get the parts that actors with decades in the business once booked. The glamour the industry offered has given way to Twitter followers and three-minute videos made online, while Meg keeps to the rule book she learned ten years ago. She is not married and has no children, and her career does not fill the empty gaps in her life. Her expectations have not been met, and she questions her decisions.
