Plot summary
Keira St-George is spending the summer before college in a seaside town, throwing away the letter about her college plans while her father keeps retrieving it. Her best friends are Glory Lorraine, who is set on marriage, and Lisa MacDougall, religious and preoccupied with sex. Glory babysits for Keith Clark, a thirty-two-year-old husband and father whose wife works night shifts; he rides a motorcycle, gambles with friends and grows pot in his backyard. When Keira hears about him from Gordon Gruber, she goes to his house and offers to babysit as well, and Lisa soon announces the same plan. The three decide they want Keith for themselves and pressure him into sleeping with them.
