There's Something in The Pilliga (2014) on Netflix

Plot summary

For centuries, a remote part of New South Wales has carried the story of the Yowie, also known as Jingra, a creature said to stalk the country where men seldom go and to keep to itself. Jay drives trucks, and Dylan is his friend, a cameraman who films him. In a pub the two meet Liz and Tammy, two women out for a good time, and the four set off into Pilliga National Park. There the local legend comes out to play, with claws and a taste for human flesh, and the trip turns sinister for all four of them.
