Plot summary
The outlaw Paris Pitman Jr. robs the rancher Mr. Lomax of $500,000 that Lomax keeps in a safe disguised as a table. Pitman hides the money in a nest of rattlesnakes and is sentenced to ten years in a penitentiary in the Arizona territory. The corrupt warden LeGoff offers to let him out for half the loot. Pitman promises his fellow inmates a share of the money if they help him get away.
