Plot summary
Leonardo is a blind high school student who wants a more independent life than his overprotective mother allows. His best friend, Giovana, walks him home even though she lives in the opposite direction, and the two discuss how neither has yet kissed anyone. At school, a classmate, Fabio, mocks the sound of Leonardo's typewriter, and a new student, Gabriel, sits in the empty seat behind him. Giovana is interested in Gabriel, and so is a classmate, Karina, but Gabriel joins Leonardo and Giovana on their walks home. Leonardo tells Giovana he wants to study abroad but has not told his parents, and when he and Gabriel are paired for a school project, the time they spend together stirs new feelings in Leonardo and leaves him questioning the exchange program.
