Plot summary
Frank Warren works for the United States Treasury, and his assignment is to shut down a powerful mob crime boss. He goes undercover, posing as a criminal, and searches for information that will build a tax evasion case against the organization. George Pappas works the case alongside him. The boss is never shown and is spoken of only as the Big Fellow, a man whose money now comes from gambling, numbers and protection rackets. Attorney Edward J. O'Rourke serves as his front-man. Instead of evidence, Warren keeps meeting witnesses who are too frightened to talk and police officers who are corrupt.
