Plot summary
David Cuevas takes a cut from the gangs of Los Angeles alongside his partner Creeper, collecting for their boss, Wizard, who runs the enterprise from prison. His uncle Louis is his superior in the crew, and at home are his wife Alexis and their two children. Alexis' family is preparing for her niece's quinceañera. A newly promoted gangster named Victor pays short, and David, hearing the money went to his daughter's leukemia treatment, lets him keep it. At an associate's place, where the two men have come for a payment, a rival named Conejo declares that the man now works for him. Louis calls Conejo a former opponent of Wizard known for ruthlessness.
