Plot summary
Christine's first year at college pairs her with Reagan, who treats the place as a chance for sex, drugs and rock and roll. Christine herself is still grieving her parents, who died in a car accident, and it is Reagan who talks her into a Beta Alpha Tau sorority party, which Christine finds provocative. When Christine's professor learns she might be accepted by the popular sorority, the professor urges her to join, believing Beta Alpha Tau to be a sinister force that takes souls and ruins students; from inside, Christine could learn the truth about its power. The sorority's president, Devin, offers her a bid, and Christine accepts, entering a sensuous and intoxicating way of life.
