Plot summary
Parker Schafer is a New York City journalist who lives for success, social status and being the life of the party. When her longtime boyfriend throws her out of their apartment and goes back to his ex-wife, her glamorous life comes apart: her reputation is in ruins and she is fired. A friend suggests she try a viral wellness retreat, where Guru Shuroo promises to change a life in seven days. Parker packs up and heads for a remote getaway in the Catskills; a spiritual bohemian collects her in a classic VW van along the way. There she joins a group of strangers with very different backstories, all gathered for a weekend of guided meditation, yoga and unorthodox healing methods.
