Cornelia Guest

Cornelia Guest is a New York socialite, author and actress who came to public notice as a debutante in New York in the early 1980s, when she was named Deb of the Year for 1982 and later Deb of the Decade for the 1980s. The New York Times described her as the first celebutante and noted her aim of becoming an actress rather than following a quieter society route. In 1986 she released a memoir, The Debutante's Guide to Life, then moved to Hollywood, hired acting coach Sandra Seacat and from 1989 onward took mostly minor parts. During the early 2000s she represented the LaPrairie skin-care brand. She competed on the Food Network's Rachael vs. Guy: Celebrity Cook-Off in 2013 and had a role in Twin Peaks in 2017. She also published a cookbook and entertaining guide and launched a catering business.
