The team set out to reclaim its dominance in international basketball, and the film traces its preparation for the tournament and the competition itself. Archival Olympic footage and behind-the-scenes material from the team's time in Beijing carry the story, along with interviews with athletes and coaches from the 2004 squad and the 2008 squad.
