Plot summary
The Padre makes his living as a small-time con man in Colombia, working the role of a priest in a small town. His pursuers are Randall Nemes, a retired American judge, and Gaspar, a local police officer Nemes has hired. When the Padre is caught in the middle of a scheme, he takes off in a stolen car. He does not know that Lena, a sixteen-year-old girl, is riding in the back seat. She blackmails him into letting her stay, since she wants to reach her sister in the United States. The two of them begin to plan a heist while the law keeps closing in.
