Plot summary
Lucid nightmares disturb June Abbott's waking hours. She cleans crime scenes for a living, and her boyfriend, Officer Daniel Meyer, gives her a ring. One order sends her to the home of Ellie Ford, who was killed by someone copying the methods of the Judas Killer. FBI Agent Terrence Ballard questions June about Ellie Ford and tells her that Maggie, her alcoholic mother, adopted her. Her birth mother, Jennifer Glick, was Maggie's sister and the Judas Killer's first victim. Ballard gives June Jennifer's belongings, among them a Bible.
