Plot summary
Noelle Page, a young Frenchwoman, meets Larry Douglas, a pilot serving in France with the Royal Canadian Air Force just before the Second World War. She believes he will marry her, but his orders send him back to the United States and he never returns. She learns she is pregnant. Larry, meanwhile, meets Catherine Alexander, a trusting young woman from Chicago, in Hollywood, where she is making a film promoting military enlistment, and he marries her.
