Plot summary
Marley is a criminal who has served a stint in prison for killing a woman. Out of prison, he sets out to find the daughter she left behind. His guilt comes to him in the guise of his victim's ghost. The search brings him back to Brendan, the gang boss he once answered to, and to a brutal criminal conspiracy. His mission turns bloody.

- Writer-director Justin Edgar wanted his whole crew to feel what Marley's imprisonment was like, so he made them stay inside Shrewsbury Prison while those scenes were shot, and he shared a cell with his director of photography. Edgar said the prison, where people were once hanged, had very creepy corners.
- Most of the film was shot in the Digbeth area of Birmingham, which writer-director Justin Edgar said had kept its edge because, unlike Manchester's Northern Quarter or Shoreditch in London, it has not been gentrified. He said a man was shot dead there a week after filming ended.
