Plot summary
Jerry is resting on a chaise longue, reading and nibbling cheese taken from a mousetrap, when the doorbell rings. Outside stands Nibbles, a very small mouse with a note pinned to his red scarf: the orphan has come to spend Thanksgiving with Jerry, and a postscript says he is always hungry. With nothing in his cupboards, Jerry leads Nibbles to the milk bowl beside the sleeping Tom and holds him over it. Nibbles slurps loudly and wakes Tom, and Jerry pulls him back out of sight; Tom sees no one, drinks the milk himself and goes back to sleep. When Mammy Two Shoes sets a large turkey on the crowded table, the two mice climb up, and Nibbles begins taking bites of everything in reach.
