Plot summary

Mikko, Maria and Matilda grew up in a dilapidated house in the heart of the forest of Sydänmaa. Fifteen years before their return, their father was found murdered in that house, their mother was declared missing, and Matilda, the youngest of the children, was wheeled in a small cage into a corner of the bedroom. The three grown siblings now come back to settle their late parents' estate and to prepare the property for sale. From the moment they arrive, they notice that the forest changes the way they behave, and an evil force works against their plan to sell the house and land.
