Plot summary

Kenneth has built Insite, a program for manipulating the stock market, and keeps delaying its launch, which frustrates his financier Derek. Kenneth dies in a car accident. His assistant Nita has the job of telling his son Ryan, who lives in Los Angeles and has not spoken to his father in twenty years. Ryan and his friend Jerry are short of money and owe a debt to Jerry's fiancée's mobster brother, so the trip appeals. Nita sends a jet for them and brings them to a villa on the shore of Lake Saimaa in Varkaus, where Ryan is to run his father's business. Nita and the coder Leo look after Ryan, while Derek and his right-hand woman Ivy want Insite.
