Plot summary
Elle Evans begins her senior year while her boyfriend Noah Flynn is away at college, and classmates gossip that the two of them will split up. She and her best friend Lee Flynn are putting on the charity kissing booth again, and Lee wants Marco Peña, a transfer student, to be one of the kissers. Noah tells Elle she should apply to Harvard, though her plan has always been to attend the University of California, Berkeley with Lee. When Elle hears from her father that tuition money is a problem, she applies to Harvard without telling anyone and joins Lee in a dance competition with a cash prize. Noah has also befriended Chloe, a girl he met on Instagram. When Elle visits him in Boston and meets Chloe, she grows insecure.
